Yesterday we published a first version of PHProjekt 6, the 'developer preview edition'. Please read the full article in our P6 blog. There you will also find links to the download package, the demo installation, the mailing list and other resources.

New beta version of PHProjekt 5.3

Today we uploaded a new beta version of PHProjekt 5.3 We fixed many bugs and we enhanced the caldav server so with the new version of lightning 0.9 you can get the free /busy status of the other group members and invite them to meetings.

The current edition of the german PHP Jounal features an extensive story about PHProjekt Version 5.2. In the conclusion it states: "For sure PHProjekt is one of the most powerful applications, which are available in the Open Source field".

New Server

We moved phprojekt.com to a new server!
The CMS and some applications like the phpMyFAQ should run much faster now. We also fixed some bugs, e.g. the captcha in the forum works again.

Announcing PHProjekt 6

After seven years of development and maintenance, we think that it is time to reinvent PHProjekt. Though it is still pretty popular and has a lot of functions, the source code is outdated and maintenance gets more and more difficult.
Therefore we decided to make a cut and to rewrite the whole application.

We opened an own blog to accompany the development process and to let you know in advance what you can expect from PHProjekt 6.

Ein Klick genügt - PHProjekt als Click & Build Anwendung bei 1&1 erhältlich

1&1 hat Anfang März für seine Webhosting Kunden ein Paket mit 10 erfolgreichen Open Source Anwendungen geschnürt, darunter auch PHProjekt. Lt. 1&1 wurden hierzu sehr viele Anwendungen getestet, allerdings erfüllten nur wenige die hohen Qualitätsansprüche von 1&1. Bei dem Angebot, das sich sowohl an Einsteiger wie auch Profis richtet, ist nur ein Klick bis zur Installation erforderlich.

PHProjekt erzielt bei Vergleich von Kollaborationsplattformen Höchstnoten

In einer Vergleichsstudie des Fraunhofer Instituts IAO zum Thema "Webbasierte Open Source Kollaborationsplattformen" schnitt PHProjekt als beste ab. In den getesteten Kategorien Kommunikationsunterstützung, Projektmanagement, Daten- und Informationsmanagement und Administrative Tools erzielte PHProjekt Bestnoten. "PHProjekt ist ein weitverbreitete, umfassendes und ausgereiftes Produkt zur Unterstützung von Kollaboration." Den Download gibt es hier.

PHProjekt 5.3 beta!

Pünktlich zum Anfang von 2008 releasen wir eine neue Version von PHProjekt.

Bitte beachten Sie dabei, dass PHProjekt 5.3 noch in der beta Phase ist.

Neben einigen Bugfixes war unser Hauptziel neue Features zu implementieren, um Ihnen das Arbeiten mit PHProjekt noch komfortabler zu machen.
